AERDRON was selected to participate in Avante Agrotech Telefonica Open Future startup incubator. This a great opportunity and program to kick start AERDRON with 50K Euros of funding for the ED1 Extremdron project. The ED1 Extremdron project aimed to create an operating system for drones based on ROS. The ED1 Extreme drone was designed from the ground up to incorporate a UNIX based Ubuntu companion computer and a bespoke PCB chassis to easily incorporate industrial sensors and payload. The project was successfully executed in 6 months.
